Winter is truly here, and what was once a ray of white chrysanthemum blooms have all but died down, till next fall.
All I have left is this capture of the chrysanthemum blooms to remind me of the beauty they hold, and I just can’t wait to see them again.

Chrysanthemum Tea
Did you know the flower heads of the yellow and white chrysanthemum morifoliumis is commonly used in tea in parts of Asia?
Either brew by itself or add to your choice of green, oolong or Jasmine tea, creates a beautiful aromatic floral beverage, enjoyed both hot or cold.
The leaves and steam can also be used as greens in cooking?
Currently brewing a batch of chrysanthemum and persimmon flavoured kombucha. Mmmmm and I can’t wait to crack that open π.

My chrysanthemums may have gone, however in its place in the garden, I can see the long spikes of my orchids ready to bloom, and I canβt wait to be greeted with a sea of yellow in my garden again πππ.
What’s currently blooming in your side of town?
