I’m starting to miss the warmer days. When you go out for day trips in the country and enjoy picnic lunches with goodies purchased at the local farmers market.
It’s just been too cold, wet and windy to be out lately on day trips.
Even colder further out in the Otway country, but support the local farmers and communities we must!
Picturesque Otway Country
This picture here, was taken during our weekend away.
A foggy morning up in the Otway country.
Just Collecting Some Eucalyptus Leaves Nothing Beats A Early Morning Stroll
These spectacular eucalyptus trees have the most stunning colours.
With its shades of dark blue and purple in parts, and a shimmering coat of silver.
It was as if we were in a winter wonderland with the trees coated in glittering snow ❄️.
The smell of the fresh scented eucalyptus leaves, mixed in with the cool crisp air was simply a rejuvenating way to wake up in the morning.
Beautiful Foggy Morning In Otway Crisp Morning Walks
There’s nothing I love more than my morning walks out in the Otway country, when the air is crisp.
Hearing the therapeutic sound of your own footsteps, the whispers from the busy wildlife, and Mother Nature around us 💚💚💚.
Life is full of beauty, take time to notice it. You’ll be amazed at the simple pleasures you’ll find 💚
Forest One Day, Beaches The Next
In contrast, up on the hills, among the vast Otway National Forest, drive a little further, and you’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches in Victoria.
Triplet Falls Gibson Steps
We’re so lucky to have so many natural wonders from pristine forest, rolling patchwork hills, quaint towns and crystal aquamarine beaches, all within a hop, step and a jump.
Here’s a capture of the picturesque Loch Ard Gorge down along the Great Ocean Road, to inspire you to go out and explore what’s in your back yard!

May you find Paradise ❤️
Kids get your raincoat and wellies ready (that’s gumboots) we’re going for a drive over the weekend.
What’s your plans for the weekend?
